The reason we decided to take up raising wild boars was that so people could come and enjoy the opportunity to see some of our wildlife up close. It was in August 2003 when we brought our first wild boars, Arnold and Ingrid, from Saaremaa. Carmen, Siiri, Mart, Siim and Kristiina joined the group during the winter. Carmen gave birth to eight piglets already on June 10, 2004.

They are intelligent animals and take food from hand. All visitors can experience a close encounter with the wild boars – have a picnic and wander around among them. In order to attract free-living wild boars to approach the enclosure, there is a field next to it. Hunting is prohibited in this area. In July you can see how free-living wild boars and the ones in the enclosure interact. You can climb up the hunting tower and watch them. A guide will offer insights into animal behaviour.
